Precautions
1-No training the day of your test.
2-Come well hydrated and avoid caffeine and other stimulants that can affect your heart rate.
3- health care practitioner may request that you don’t exercise for several hours before the test or refrain from eating or drinking anything other than water for 8 to 10 hours prior to the test
Interferring factor
1-Methodologic interference (e.g., ascorbic acid).
2-Proper specimen collection and processing techniques are critical for reliable results. Use of tourniquet or clenching hands increases lactate

1-Taking vit C without telling laboratory specialist this effect the result

If the report is not delivered to the patient and this error is discovered the correct result must be written, but if the report is delivered to the patient, must communicate with him and tell him that an error has occurred and replace the report with the report in which there is the correct result
